When it was too late I realized I hadn’t taken photos of the charmingly funky lounge at the Nanjing Jasmine International Hostel where I stayed over the May Day holiday. The rooms are plain, but clean and contain bunks, lockers and a desk. The bathrooms were kept clean, though the showers could do with an upgrade. Those are on the ground floor so there’s a hike involved from the dorm rooms. The staff speaks good English and their friendliness varies, but not widely.
There’s a covered patio with flowers on all the tables and a kitchen for guests’ use.
For 50 rmb a night for a dorm room, it’s a fair deal.
