While it’s not as big as the mighty Yellow River, Xiaoqinghe has a lovely new park with great landscaping and sculptures. Just take the #12 bus (1 rbm) from Di Kou Lu or ask your hotel which bus to take. It’s the last stop for the #12.
Cross the street and take the stairs down to the walkway. You can walk along the river for a couple of kilometers. While the river isn’t the cleanest, the park is lovely and there’s very few people.
